OpéraSport Debuted SS25 Collection as Runway Opener

OpéraSport opened Copenhagen Fashion Week with its new Spring/Summer 2025 collection with over 80 looks. Designed by the brand’s founders, Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina, the new line took inspiration from one of Copenhagen’s enchanting hidden gems—the Exillion Garden. For the new collection, reflected elements from this heritage were infused into the designs, from the precise lines of Italian Renaissance to the French Baroque areas in the garden. The silhouettes ranged in a delightful mix of feminine elegance and practical fits that created a strong versatility of day to night looks. The fabrics used throughout the looks stayed true to the brands values by exclusively using recycled or organic fabrics.

Conversation on the Power of Community

The first industry conversation was held by moderator Amelia Hoy at the Polestar space, supported by Vogue Business with panelist Claudia Cifu, Dio Kurazawa, Selma Kaci, and George Gorg. The conversation directed its focus toward the power of community between different creative industries to ensure an equitable fashion industry that can remain relevant in the future. The panelists were representatives from different industries—including a stylist, a creative, a company founder, and a model—to provide their different perspectives in making connections in different industries. Here, it represented a safe space for underrepresented voices in the industry to facilitate authentic connections to begin thriving in inspiration, innovation, and cross-pollination of different industries.

Rotate Closes Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week closed with one of the most anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 Collections from fashion house Rotate on August 8. The SS25 collection was designed by founder, Briger Christensen, who took inspiration from the 1920’s era and nods to the essence of escapism that courses through the collection with the frivolity of the garments. The collection embodies the ambiance of a summer romance through sensuality, thrill, and sensitivity. The garments are made out of delicate fabrics with a light color palette of buttery yellow, blush pink, and dove blue. The Rotate SS25 Collection crafted an essence of optimism through whimsical designs that build on the brand’s bold signature aesthetic.
