Couture SS14: A Relaxed Vionnet

No contributor

With a bold architectural approach, Vionnet’s Demi-Couture spring/summer 2014 line demonstrated the use of irregular shapes, intricate designs, and geometrical silhouettes, as well as lots of layers and fades. Shapes were cut out in specific parts of dresses, but dissolved back into the material. The gowns were draped loosely on the body, displaying a the feminine frame.

Careful use of lines and shapes projected a look of effortless glamour in shades of yellow, grey, black, white, and accents of crimson.
