Emporio Armani presented its spring/summer 2018 collection last week in Milan. Bold looks—blazers with waist belts, complemented by penguin-suit tails, and a new type of collar-like necklace tie—stood strong, with headbands, sunglasses, and sleek shoes as unwavering accessories caught our eye. A satchel bag worn around the neck was seen paired with a coy-fish jacket, and rose-colored glasses stood out, matching a red bandana pocket square and a strip of red on the shoes below.
A strong Japanese influence was seen in the collection. Black, red, and white colors held the strong, with iconic Japanese prints on many of the garments, like cross-closure jackets and wide-leg shorts.

A fun treat for Shawn Mendes fans, too, was when the musician (who is now leading the brand’s campaign for the new Emporio Armani smartwatch) closed the show, walking down the runway to his hit “Mercy.”
