Ermenegildo Zegna’s Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori made his spring/summer collection debut with the Italian fashion house recently in Milan during men’s fashion week.
The spring/summer 2018 line was full of summery looks that were casual yet elevated. In the sport-inspired collection, mesh, hoods, and oversized pockets made statements, as did a refreshing color palette of natural shades like walnut, white, freesia, lotus, slate grey, and bleached aqua. Long, fluid jackets complement joggers tailored at the ankle.

New accessories like triple-stitched sandals, elastic leather boots, and the brand’s Tiziano sneakers stood out against the colorful yet subdued offerings of hats, bags, and glasses.
“To design a forward-looking men’s fashion wardrobe built around fluidity, freshness and color, but enriched by the possibility of adding your own hint of personality and style, I couldn’t imagine a better place than this courtyard—where I often spent time in my youth reading, writing and sketching,” said Sartori of the tangerine-colored lawns at the Università Statale, where the Zegna’s show shined.
