The fall/winter 2014-15 Lanvin collection was full of gothic, showy elements, with loads of feathers, fur, equestrian hats, and leather. Slinky flapper-style fringe dresses were accessorized with long gloves, and long silk dresses with 1920s silhouettes ran through the collection.
Deconstructed tweed coats and ruffled skirts broke up the otherwise somber hues of black, grey, and navy blue that epitomized the line. Stunning “little black dresses,” included a belted leather strapless number and an Audrey Hepburn-esque fitted cocktail dresses that were fittingly accentuated with wide-brim furry hats.
