This season Giambattista Valli stunned viewers with an array of striking black-and-white prints, textured animal prints, and florals. Moving along a color gradient, the line shifted to rosy pastels, with feminine pink coats in 3-D floral designs. Romantic ensembles in hues of cranberry and maroon topped off the show.
Silhouettes were kept flattering yet contemporary, with A-line hems sometimes turning more boxy and flared, and high necklines. Accessorized with simple black ankle boots and complementary leather purses, the collection is reminiscent of 50s and 60s styling, where everything was color coordinated and ladylike.
