Artisans from Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre have produced new timepieces from the watch brand’s Rare Crafts Atelier.
The watchmakers looked to the evening skies for inspiration, with the Master Grande Tradition a Repetition Minutes, which challenges the dark colors sealed by Grand Feu enamel with a miniature painting on the dial of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel shimmers with an image of a different night sky of deep blue with gold specks of light embedded in the dial.
The Master Grande Tradition À Quantième Perpétuel 8 Jours Sq embodies the creative experimentation artisans’ employ at Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre. It combines the craft of engraving, skeleton-working and enameling to extract a modern timepiece inspired by a 1928 Grand Complication pocket watch.
In addition to the Métiers Rares watches, two models were added to the 2016 Rendez-Vous High Jewellery collection. The Rendez-Vous Tourbillon Enamel holds an immense strength with a black dial for the first time. The white gold case sparkles in contrast with a total of 254 diamonds. A dark and powerful night can only be paired with the alluring luminance of the moon. And the Rendez-Vous Moon High Jewellery model depicts a star-filled sky of 301 sapphires that inspires dreams and wishes that only Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre can fulfill.
