Creative Director Sandra Choi rocked Milan with her spring/summer 2017 menswear collection for Jimmy Choo. Aspiring to create a harmonious symphony of men’s shoes, Choi looked to rock stars like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Jimmy Hendrix—more than icons in music they were also fashion gurus.
The collection features brothers Holden and Eric, a jodhpur boot made for stadium stomping and a strapped boot with leather fringe that comes in black, saddle, and tan suede. Side-stepping to more royal means, the Elton is a soft suede sandal that has the stride of masculinity with brass buckles, two-straps, and a sling-back.
Ready to steal hearts is the Redford, a slipper that varies in either velvet and glitter or matte and patent leather. An almond toed made-in-Spain, rubber-soled espadrille desert boot serenaded lightly with the chart-topping name Vasco. In addition to these few the collection features Clint, Elijah, Roman, Ruben, Vlad, the Sloane, Foxley, Don, and the Gabriel bag.
