Last week in Paris, Jitrois debuted its fall/winter 2017 collection, a noted new direction for the leather brand. Throwing it back to the clubbing nights of New York in the eighties, Creative Director Jean-Claude Jitrois has some serious fun in store for this season.
The brand’s new Ritz jean highlights the hip with a high waisted back. Statement belts with large circle enclosures were an obvious hallmark to the decade. Jackets and pants are embellished with crystals, studs, embroideries, and zippers. Looks breathe new life into a palette of of black, white, maroon, emerald, grey, and brown.

The collection was presented through an artistic collaboration of architecture, film and imagery. The Louise Bourgeois inspired set was designed by Corpus Studios in Paris: it used mirrors as an object to create reflections in the room.
