Fine jewelry is an art form and this July, Katie Kova debuted a couture collection of cocktail rings with an installation by artist Naomi Filmer. The haute couture collection captures modern graphics and architectural references celebrated within the KOVA brand.
It contains six cocktail rings, each complex in abstraction. Rare gemstones are integrated in the pieces, combining the craft of sculpture with opulence. The stones include quartz, aquamarine, nephrite, blue spinel, and pearls in ivory or rose. Each ring is handmade by fine jewelers in London.
Courtesy of KOVAThe objects provide an illusionary weight that does not transfer to the wear, rendering a light feeling. Creating such a detailed and elegant collection took 18 months for designer Kova and all rings are exclusively made on order.
