La Perla unveiled its stunning fall/winter 2016 collection in Milan earlier this week, as the brand seeks to expand its lingerie and loungewear collections for both men and women. The show was held in the grand Palazzo Spinola, headquarters of Milan’s luxury gentleman’s club Società del Giardino.
Models walked down a live action set, against a modern digital installation backdrop. The innovative presentation was reflected in the the edgy silhouettes. Pedro Lourenço, a Sao Paolo native and the Italian brand’s creative director, integrated curvaceous shapes and graphic illusions, inspired by the Brazil’s master architect Oscar Niemeyer.
Standout pieces included a silk and tulle-embroidered skirt, calfskin belts, and a cropped top featuring brasserie construction. Keeping in line with the brand’s profound sensuality, the classic white, black, and nude color palette were enhanced by geometric cuts and micro-paillette linear motifs.
