With a globe-like orb and international flags looming above the runway at la Maison de L’UNESCO, Louis Vuitton presented their latest men’s collection in the heart of Paris. “Le Monde Est à Vous,” or “The World is Yours,” embraced the international legacy of the African diaspora as well as the global spirit of the maison. Creative Director Pharrell Williams transported viewers to a dynamic voyage of imagination and travel.
Zooming Out of Paris with L’UNESCO and Air Afrique
While the Eiffel Tower peered above the Maison de L’UNESCO rooftop runway, the show’s artistic vision instead zoomed out from the scenic city center and widened its perspective. L’UNESCO, a specialized international cultural institution, lays a fitting foundation for the maison’s international focus and Williams’ celebration of humankind.
The latest Louis Vuitton collection included artistic contributions from Air Afrique, a Paris-founded collective whose name stems from the Pan-African airline that ceased operation in 2002. The eponymous group continues the airline’s legacy, with contributing members including Lamine Diaoune, Djiby Kebe, Jeremy Konko, and Ahmadou-Bamba Thiam. With their projects like multimedia artwork and events, the collective works to uplift the creativity of the African diaspora.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection featured a co-creation of logos from Air Afrique, alongside integrating the former airline’s archival trunk checks with a blue and green tartan pattern.
“Le Monde Est À Vous” Embraces A Staple Silhouette for Louis Vuitton
Williams’ designs celebrated the diversity of human nature and the thrills of exploration, drawing from classic examples of the world traveler. Images of the aviator pilot –cropped tailored jackets– and the diplomat –slender and sculpted suits– informed the tailoring. These formalwear pieces were a testament to the savoir-faire of the fashion house, as they were made with intricately woven fabrics and detailed embroideries and buttons.
For Louis Vuitton’s new tracksuits and workwear, designs garnered inspiration from both the leisurely traveler and the timeless allure of professional soccer attire, celebrating the sport as a globally unifying force.
Louis Vuitton and Travel Go Hand-in-Hand
Louis Vuitton cannot celebrate the explorer without showcasing their travel bags; the collection presents the Speedy P9 design in a series of black adaptations and fluo colors, lightly faded to evoke the effect of the sun’s rays. Additional travel and carrier bags included the Micro Perfo bags, crafted by aviation artisans as a further ode to the maison’s fusion of exploration and craftsmanship.
The collection additionally debuted Louis Vuitton’s newest Soft Leather Goods bag line, which took the Alma, Christopher, and Neverfull designs and merged them with a new luxurious leather and an altered monogram that adds dimension. To contribute further to the show’s focus on travel, all Soft Leather Goods bags feature LV plated charms inspired by the maison’s classic trunks.

The runway featured a range of pieces that contributed to its overall outlook, infused throughout the ensembles on show. Models sported sunglasses as a further ode to aviation, including the LV Passport style with its winged frames and the new Millionaire 4.0 design with skin-toned frames and lenses and monogrammed panels.
Other accessories also resonated with the spirit of the traveler: aviator caps adorned with pins, classical berets, cowboy hats, and map iconography were spotted throughout the runway.
The collection additionally featured jewelry items “fit for the explorer,” as described by the maison. This included tennis necklaces and bracelets, double-gilded and chained compass brooches, and rotating map pendants on logo chains.
Design and Musical Performance by Pharrell Williams
As a Grammy-award-winning producer and musician, Williams’ musical prowess further contributed to the show’s splendor and exploratory nature. The runway featured live performances by Voices of Fire choir and L’Orchestre du Pont Neuf. The two groups showcased three pieces produced by Williams, starting with “Triumphus Cosmos,” a composition that kick-started the show with energy as the runway began. The soundtrack then transitioned to “Birds Don’t Sing” by Clipse featuring John Legend, then “Falling Up” by Adekunle Gold, Pharrell Williams, and Niles Rodgers.
Infused with palpable vigor, “Le Monde est À Vous” and Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection celebrated the elevated craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton alongside a rich tapestry of global heritage.
