Louis Vuitton is celebrating the second phase of its collaboration with Nigo with a special temporary residency in Soho. A pre-fall menswear capsule collection entitled LV2, the collaboration between the streetwear icon and the house’s Creative Director Virgil Abloh reinterprets the fashion of London’s Mod-era dandies with an influence of Tokyo style.
Clients making their way to the intimate Green Street corner spot in New York will find themselves face-to-face with an all-yellow façade and interiors. Once inside, they’ll be immersed in a Yellow Submarine-esque design concept, complete details like with a customized drum kit, large duck sculptures, gigantic mannequins, Marshall x Louis Vuitton speakers, and a turtle rug inspired by Nigo’s brand Human Made.
From now until mid-October, visitors can shop a selection of leather goods, footwear, accessories, and ready-to-wear—including highlights like a series of tailored suits, streetwear-inspired graphics reading “LV Made,” and the house’s iconic bag styles, which have updated with a special mega-sized Damier check.
