Maison Kitsuné fall/winter 2015

Maison Kitsuné Captures South Korean Soul

The Paris-based fashion and record label Maison Kitsuné’s fall/winter 2015 menswear collection pays a soulful tribute to the beauty of South Korea. Through color, design, and patterns, the line recognizes South Korea’s contribution to pop culture and setting trends.

Ostentatious, textured fabrics, seasonal patterns and prints, and sophisticated cuts and details are utilized to contrast a handsome neutral palette. Houndstooth and checkered prints, illuminating shades of beige, dashes of red, and strips of silver offset blacks, blues, and grays. Matching prints on ties and trousers and sophisticated cuts and details allow for Kitsuné to voice some of their collection’s inspirations—South Korean artist Moonassi, the trigrams on the South Korean flag, and the country’s1960s graphic style.
