Marchesa Notte: A Whimsical Wish-List for Fall

The dynamic duo behind Marchesa is one not to be overlooked. After Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, the two formed Marchesa in 2004 to combine Chapman’s costume design endeavors with Craig’s print and embroider design drive. Thereafter, something magical happened, and as we’ve seen year after year, show after show, the whimsical draping, embellishment, lace overlays, and luxurious cuts just keep getting better.

For fall, Marchesa Notte—the notable, more affordable sister brand—will hit Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, ShopBop, and Net-A-Porter in August. With a price point ranging $800 to $2000, any bride-to-be or upcoming birthday girl can now shop their favorite designer’s dress selection for that special day without cringing at the couture price tag. Marchesa’s signature craftsmanship, embroideries, and fabrics only further enhance each flirty silhouette in key materials such as lace, velvet, delicately printed paillettes, and sheer tulle. Intricate embroidery is seen complimenting double layers of lace on both short and long dresses for many occasions. Strapless, maxi, mini dresses, and gowns alike are all seen in an array of flattering patterns ready for a night out.
