By Roseanne Tabachnik

February 24, 2016

Last night at Max Mara’s Miami Design District boutique, Tony Award-winning designer Maria Björnson, in partnership with Max Mara, debuted three original costume designs in honor of Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of The Phantom the Opera which opens this week at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.

The costume preview included “The Phantom’s Suit,” a two-piece tailsuit of patterned silk, “Don Juan Triumphant,” a Spanish folklore-inspired dress worn, and “The Manager’s Office,” opera-inspired workwear featuring a metallic brocade bodice and a skirt.
