A collection based on a story of an Italian hero with two souls, romantic and fierce, the Trussardi men’s fall/winter 2014-15 presentation in Milan this week married tradition and futuristic style.
The combination of fabrics, like leather and wool, provided a hint of riskiness combining the ghosts of past and present. The styling remained casual and sleek giving the effortless feel only found in a sharp men’s wardrobe.
The collection consisted of long trench coats, leather jackets, and wool coats with camel hair, checkered fleece sweatshirts, crew neck sweaters, pin-striped suits, oversized parkas, leather cigarette trousers, and cashmere/wool trousers. The looks were accessorized with 90s-inspired crocodile minimal bags, and backpacks and totes made of blending knits and leather.
Classic colors of burgundy, camel, browns, blues, and grays sidled up to louder prints of stripes, plaid, and checkered.
