It’s almost time for us to start packing for Miami – where we’ll need to look our best at the many fair previews, brunches, lunches, BBQs (there are a couple this year), cocktails, private dinners, and after-parties. We put together a few looks on our wishlist for day (fair openings & lunches) and night (cocktails, dinners, and after-parties) in the city where the heat is on.
DAY: FAIR PREVIEWS

For the Miami fair previews its all about looking great while feeling comfortable, booth after booth, hour after hour. We chose a Chloe diamond lace tee with pleated crepe shorts, paired with flats that are still flashy – Dolce & Gabbana studded brogues. In terms of accessories, a large bag is key for days in Miami, like this Moreau bregancon open tote, and we love this Repossi pink gold berbere ring. Finally, for while it’s still daylight, these Perrin Paris 1893 Ace 16 sunglasses with leather accents in creme brulee.
DAY: LUNCH LOOK

This year our inbox is full of champagne brunches, beach BBQs, and Argentine asado invites. For midday, this Missoni Plisse dress worn with Alexander Wang Antonia sandals is perfect. There’s less of a need for a bag big enough for an ipad, but this over-the-shoulder trio purse from Celine can still store plenty. The Missoni dress is bold enough in pattern that we kept the accessories simple with this pretty fantastic Paul Mendoza Joos bracelet in gold.
NIGHT: COCKTAILS & DINNER

For cocktails and dinners, we like to punch it up a bit in Miami, like this Lanvin jeweled tank dress. And just because the dress is flashy, doesn’t mean we’ll tone it down for the shoes and bag. We are currently seriously into these beauties: a stud Capitale clutch from Perrin Paris 1893 B. Akerlund Capitale collection and Saint Laurent Janis Metal inset sandals.
NIGHT: THE AFTER-PARTY

Late night in Miami you can go a little more casual, but its Miami, so you never want to be boring. That’s why we chose bold, zebra-print Fendi crepe-de-chine cropped pants to go with a breezy Lanvin V-neck blouse. To keep up with the DJ late night, these Givenchy slingback glove sandals with a chunky heel will do. And just one zebra print wouldn’t do – this is South Beach – so we paired an iconic David Webb zebra bracelet with our new favorite M2Malletier La Fleur du Mal leather clutch.
