FENDI 100 Unveils “1925-2025: Lo Spirito del Tempo” at Spazio FENDI

“FENDI reminds me of the future,” said Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi on the momentous occasion of the maison’s 100th year. “I didn’t want to spend too much time dwelling on the physical archives. For me FENDI 100 is more about personal memories—real or imagined—of what FENDI was and what FENDI means today.”
“FENDI reminds me of the future,”
Silvia Venturini Fendi
In this tender vein, the fashion house’s women’s and men’s fall/winter 2025/26 presentation was soulful and showstopping. Unfolding in Milan’s new Spazio FENDI, a dynamic soundtrack fusing the sensuality of Barry White with Italian overtures by Ornella Vanoni, Mina, and more set a celebratory scene. Under the shimmer of chandelier-inspired lights and atop luxuriant carpet, a parade of models in cocooning furs, knits, lingerie dresses, and menswear coats took our breath away. Newest FENDI ambassador Bang Chan, the beloved leader of K-pop sensation Stray Kids, made a noble appearance in an elegant, Roman-inspired athletic look, fully embodying the youthful vibrance and historic duality of FENDI 100’s “The Spirit of Time.”
Max Mara Sets Free the “Untamed Heroine” for Fall/Winter 2025

Invoking the ladylike prowess of “Jane Eyre” and the heartfelt fervor of “Wuthering Heights,” Max Mara paid distinct homage to the Brontës’ “Untamed Heroines” of then and now. Intermingling elements of neo-gothic chic and metropolitan savoir-faire, the cinched redingote in leather or shearling sleeves debuted a sweeping skirt with a peep of culottes and rib-knit stockings. The maison’s trademark Cascia hues echoed the gradient earth and sky of Yorkshire—the cherished home of the Brontës—and was layered with bountiful shades of mossy green and berry red. Cloud-like cashmere, scintillating tweed, and refreshed visions of the Victorian bodice newly beckoned us into the wildly romantic heart and mind of Max Mara.
MM6 Maison Margiela Breathes New Life into the Classics

Unveiling the meticulous craftsmanship and techniques poured into every MM6 Maison Margiela garment is intrinsic to the pioneering fashion house. This is as true as ever in the autumn/winter 2025 runway show, where the comfortability and confidence of the wearer was placed front and center, making sure that construction supports ultimate freedom of expression. In a symphonic ebb and flow of shapes and volumes, the quintessential trench coat, column dress, pantsuit, and polo were revitalized for the blazing MM6 protagonist. The brilliant addition of innovative panels and padding, in addition to removable frames, drew alluring new lines in seams and shoulders. Serene and grounded greys, blacks, and browns met with fizzy red and turquoise, with stoic onyx sunglasses harnessing our ambitions and innermost desires.
Khrisjoy’s Cutting-Edge, Couture-Inspired Masterpieces

Championing the bright and bold heroines of Milan, Khrisjoy’s fall/winter 2025 presentation embarked on new territory with cutting-edge, couture-inspired masterpieces. Renowned for their sumptuous outerwear, the maison raised the curtain on knitwear and activewear which succeeded expectations. Rigorously practical yet boundlessly imaginative, must-have bomber jackets showcased skillfully built-up sleeves, parkas which evolved into theatrical capes, and whimsical vests featuring changeable flaps. Cascading nylon, taffeta, and sleek, coated zippers, produced tactile pieces celebrating the future of texture and color. Hypnotic Julie Verhoeven prints and mosaic designs evoked the organic and the industrial in contemporary know-how. A delightful palette of pink, red, orange, and blue gave way to chocolate brown and tobacco, illuminating the light and dark within each of us.
La DoubleJ Unveils “Magical Matter” in Milan

Milan-based La DoubleJ positively doubled down on its ardent mission to “wrap the world in joy” with its fall 2025 collection. Decadent draping, story-book silhouettes, and prints energized by flora and fauna welcomed all into a resplendent dream. Accessories woven to perfection were placed alongside matching garments, reflecting Mother Nature’s delicate harmony. An ode to seasons and life cycles played out in the lyrical scarves, neckerchiefs, and hoods which were deftly built into gowns, robes, and overcoats. Striking knits such as the Embroidered Chalet Cardigan and the hand crochet Mini Cardigan stole our hearts, as did radiant jewelry spotlighting the precious power of amethyst, rose quartz, and lapis lazuli.
