Exploring the past, present, and future of the brand, Gucci emphasizes their chic Italian craftsmanship in their fall/ winter show. The luxurious green catwalk formed the iconic interlocking “G’s”, paying homage to founder Guccio Gucci as the house celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the emblem this year. The room was draped with velvet emerald curtains that created a sensual and rich atmosphere aligning with the collection. Models presented pearl leathers, and classic British tailoring in slubbed tweeds uniting both feminine and masculine styling. The show traveled through silhouettes from the 1960s to the minimalism of the 1990s. The classic 1955 Horsebit bag was featured in an array of outfits, celebrating its seventieth anniversary on the runway.

Brunello Cucinelli Defines Elegance

The Brunello Cucinelli Women’s fall/ winter 2025 show told an elegant story of nature with its innovative craftsmanship. The collection highlighted duality by blending relaxed everyday wear with equestrian inspired styling. Horseblazers, poplin shirts adorned with ribbons, and trimmed trousers were disrupted with a feminine flat, while chevalier boots paired with mini and midi skirts. Pulled from the natural landscapes of Panama, the collection sported an earth tone palette with flattering shades of brown and burgundy.

Dsquared2 Is Under Arrest For Being Too Cool

Standout artist Doechii ran to open the fall/ winter 2025 Dsquared2 show, celebrating thirty fabulous years of the brand. Mimicking the community of a club, the models danced, smoked, and strutted in an array of campy outfits representing the Dsquared2 personalities throughout the years. Pairs of Canadian cowboys in hats holding cigarettes, disco queens in electric purple gowns, and glam rockers roller skating down the runway brought an intense confidence to Milan. The iconic Skate boots made a comeback styled with a beautiful icy gown, while collaborations with Magliano, Vaquera, and Better, Ducati and legendary rock band Kiss hit the stage. After Naomi Campell closed the show,  Brigitte Nielson walked in a leather fitted police uniform to arrest genius founders Dean and Dan Caten for disrupting the boundaries of the fashion industry.

Jil Sanders Goes Dark

The Jil Sanders fall/ winter show turned to the dark side with feathers flowing out of pitch black wool. Elegant floral gowns popped against dark fabrics while ribbons embellished creamy classic dresses. Designers Lucie and Luke Meier experimented with the unity of New Wave nostalgia with glamorous traditional styling in raw cuts of fabric. Gender neutral skirts came in taffetas, silks, and velvets highlighting the handmade cashmere knit sweaters. The collection embraced the darkness with pops of lavender in leather jackets, and silver hints combining the effortless chic of the brand with a new edge. The show served as one of the last by the Meier’s as they announced their departure with the brand after eight years as creative directors.

Marni’s Playful Energy

A serendipitous meeting on a foggy London evening with artists Francesco Risso, Olaolu Slawn, and Soldier Boyfriend led to the creation of Marni’s fall/ winter collection. Their creativity united resulting in a dynamic fusion of history and underground culture coming to life on the runway in Milan. The collection unfolded in a storybook manner, with wolf hide embellishing traditional suits, touches of bright fur, and blooming flowers from elegant satin dresses. Actress and former model, Tracy Ellis Ross, debuted on the Marni runway in a glamorous bright yellow gown. The guests were seated at perfectly clothed tables and served Marni vermouth spritz to enjoy the playful genius of the collection.

Brioni’s Modern Woman

The Brioni La Donna fall/ winter 2025 collection blended classic masculinity with feminine delicacy, to celebrate the complexity of the modern woman. Drawing from menswear traditions, it introduced the “round shoulder” silhouette, with pieces like the cape coat, double splittable sweater, and sculptural scarves offering a perfect mix of structure, comfort, and fluidity. Inspired by the 1960s H-line, the collection featured sleek outerwear and tailored trousers, paired with square toed boots and geometric heels. Rich fabrics, intricate embroidery, and a Caravaggio inspired color palette evoked timeless edge and elegance.
