With a winding runway lined with yellow and white seating pods for attendees, a wooden ceiling up above, and pink-and-white wallpapered walls surrounding the show space, Miu Miu debuted its wild looking fall/winter 2015 collection.
A piercing red snakeskin trench coat and casual pinstripe button-down blouse was paired with a bubbled, faint orange skirt. An eye-catching, teal, leopard print coat with a grey snakeskin collar, was worn over a red, black, and white high-waisted skirt and a mustard and black striped top.
Accessories included large daisy earrings and statement necklaces while purses were seen in a variety of small satchel and envelope-flap styles. Shoes came as pointy-toe flats with wide buckles, and wide-strap ankle heels in black and red, and a closed-toe green heel with five thin buckle clasps.
There was one practical black outfit that designated the snakeskin to only the cusp of the sleeve, and on the waist-accentuation petals that flared next to large white buttons. Seen alongside a retro-shaped bag with a chain link-like handle, it was also daisy-donned with a bright yellow necklace.
With none of Miu Miu’s runway looks matching, and judging by the collection’s intensity, we are sure to expect these looks to lead the mixing-and-matching parade into fall, winter, and beyond.
