Walking into Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2017 show at the Palais d’Iéna during Paris Fashion Week, guests got a sneak peek at what they were about to see on the runway as they were immersed in “The Soft Enfilade” by AMO. Fuzzy purple eco-fur lined nearly every corner of the space, leading attendees to their seats, and teasing the collection’s theme—eco-fur, statement pieces with pizazz, and a whole lot of funk.
With a new term on hand, “eco-fur,” Miu Miu put forth a slew of wild looks, including head-to-toe in the fuzz, or accents on shoulder, shoes, mushroom-like hats, and vests. We saw Siamese cats as prints, puffer coats with large collars, sandals with bedazzled circular detailing, tinted eyewear, clear raincoats, and other trippy and colorful gloves, boots, and caps.
