Moschino women's pre-fall 2017 & men's fall/winter 2017

Moschino Commands New Collections with Paramilitary Edge

Moschino’s new collections—pre-fall 2017 for women and fall/winter 2017 for men—are bringing men and women out on a fashion mission. The stage is set in an indeterminate future at an ancient palazzo, and in the air, there’s a bold disturbance between the imbalance of hope and associated dissatisfaction. Designer Jeremy Scott knows toss-ups well, such as how to find clarity in confusion, and thereafter how to present an array of looks that are artful and meaningful, too. So for this run of show, we are seeing a militia-like baseline, and looks that command attention.

We got an eye-full of a camouflage color palette, explosive prints and futuristic designs, and a variety of military harnesses fit for fashionable blasts away from battle zones. Pops of bright colors and twists of fringe are seen spicing up some of the bombers and jackets, and we saw a camo print made up of shades of green roses. From there, more pops of color in fur are seen atop some looks, and roses return in classic red, orange, and yellow petals underneath more harnesses and above combat boots. We caught glimpses of new accessories, too, such as handbags and cross-body bags, as well as large necklaces, corsets, hats, gloves, belts, and vests.

For the seasons ahead, in lieu of a lieutenant, we’re bunking down and de-bunking all of the laws—Moschino reigns for fall.
