Mulberry Gets Cozy with the British Countryside

Mulberry‘s fall/winter 2017 show took place on Sunday at Old Billingsgate during London Fashion Week. The third collection from Creative Director Johnny Coca was inspired by British aristocracy, full of tweed, embroidery, lace, and silk. English country life was represented by Equestrian themes found in quilted cape-like pieces, floral patterns, crocheted knits, and braided bag straps. Silhouettes, shapes, and the overall color palette reminded us of the seventies, with that same vintage flare seeping into Mulberry’s Somerset-crafted leather accessories.
