Naman’s Lost Boys: A Dream Men’s Collection

By Allison Merchant

July 15, 2016

David Naman enticed the future man with a fantasy of dichotomous splendor. On July 11 he unveiled his playful spring/summer 2017 collection, helping kick of New York Fashion Week Men’s.

In his illusory world, Naman’s men were dressed with fun patterns and florals, off-setting chic solids on either top or bottom. Strong silhouettes were guided by crisp blazers and clean lined cropped trousers.

The inspiration for this collection came not from a style, a time, or an image, but from Naman’s mind. “Where reality meets dreamland, where sartorial and sport collide with fanciful playfulness, it is where the David Naman man resides,” he described.
