Vanessa Moody is the new modernist. This summer, the Texan model became the face for Prada Mod, a retrospective line inspired by the sixties in the U.K. In correlation with the launch of the new collection, a digital film was released starring Moody in Prada Mod eyewear.
The strong Mod subculture embodies a confidence in femininity, which Moody exalts in the eight episode series. Viewers are led through a treasure hunt of looks and lifestyles with hidden messages in each episode. Inspired by the mantra of Alan Sillitoe “Whatever people say I am, that is what I am not.”

A bold illustration set against fading industrialization, the collection proved elegance is daring and strength is provocative. The new Prada Mod glasses consist of acetate detailing framed by metal profiles. They provide a blend of the sixties style with modern touches for both sun and optical frames. The collection is currently available at Prada stores and selected retailers worldwide.
