Last month, just in time for the release of the latest Marvel movie Captain America: Civil War, Nick Graham teamed up with the comic group to create something heroic—a menswear line dedicated entirely to Iron Man and Captain America. “Teaming up with Marvel is so cool,” said Graham. “It is such a dynamic brand that has unparalleled reach around the world. We’re taking a fresh approach in menswear to the Marvel brand, and extending it in ways that haven’t been done before.”
While other Marvel characters will follow this fall, this collection offers ties, dress shirts, and T-shirts with characters and logos discreetly forming patterns. Captain America’s logo and shield can be seen making up its own print, while just the tropical shield is seen making statements of its own as this season’s new must-have Hawaiian shirt.
“Marvel is always looking for ways to connect with fans through their sense of individuality and style,” said Paul Gitter, senior vice president of licensing for Marvel at Disney Consumer Products. “We knew Nick Graham’s unique voice in the menswear world would resonate and that his style was the right approach to offer fans a fashion-forward way to express their love for the Marvel brand.”
