Noon By Noor Displays Delicacy in Contrast

Designers and cousins Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa of Noon By Noor are taking their Bahrain-based womenswear label to a striking level this fashion week. Pulling inspiration from Eastern and Western influences, the line, which launched in 2011 and had its first show at New York Fashion Week in fall 2012, has developed a new collection emphasizing the cloth and its cuts. Double-faced and soft, materials like panne velvet and fluid jersey create draped silhouettes and textural gazar, revs up the tone for some added volume.

In camel, cream, black, and white we got a taste of what the new fall/winter 2017 had to offer—and the Khalifa women are sticking to their contrasts, with masculine shapes and feminine silhouettes, until further notice.
