Join Whitewall as we recap an exhilarating week of standout menswear collections. The final days of Men’s Paris Fashion Week captivated audiences with a masterful mix of sensational denim and wool from TAAKK, street culture turned high fashion by 032c, and a redefined luxury style for everyday life by SYSTEM.
032c Challenges the Norm

032c unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, “SUSPICIOUS MINDS”, during Men’s Paris Fashion Week at Maison des Métallos. Designed by the visionary Maria Koch, the collection challenges conventional fashion by embracing the unknown and disrupting traditional forms. With a nod to both European heritage and dystopian aesthetics, “SUSPICIOUS MINDS” features exaggerated silhouettes, occult references, and bold reinterpretations of classic garments like janker jackets and Dirndl-inspired pieces. It’s an anti-Zeitgeist uniform designed to provoke thought and unsettle established beliefs.
SYSTEM Embraces the Moment

SYSTEM’s Fall/ Winter 2025 collection, “At the Very Moment”, took inspiration from Norman Rockwell’s iconic painting Dressing Up, evoking the nostalgic wonder of childhood as we explore the world of grown-ups. Presented at the National Museums of Natural History in Paris, the collection explores timeless childhood items like plaid shirts and scarves through a modern lens. Plush materials like alpaca wool, suede, and velvet reflect the warmth of these childhood memories, while rich wool fabrics in deep hues contrast with pastel sheers. With about 335 pieces, creative director Hee-Soo Kim captures the essence of memory, transforming the comfortable into something new and elevated.
TAAKK Breaks Boundaries

The unusual blend of denim and wool captivated viewers in TAAKK’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, “The Collective Invention.” Designed by Takuya Morikawa, denim and leopard print are fused together to echo affinity and combine the unusual. Inspired by his father’s invention factory and a book of René Magritte’s surreal work, the collection reversed traditional ideas to create newness. Our favorite example is conveyed by combining a t-shirt and a rider’s jacket to become one. Luxurious jewel tones highlight the dépaysement combination of material and design breaking the norm of menswear.
Vowels Elevate the Everyday Wardrobe

Vowels’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, “Everyday Life,” blends luxury with daily routines, offering elevated essentials for a forward thinking wardrobe. Creative Director Yuki Yagi draws from the brand’s New York-based research library, weaving seasonal silhouettes in premium materials like cotton, wool, and silk. The M-1-inspired hand-stitched bomber, post-Impressionist jacquard designs, and a sharp wool mohair suit stand out pushing the limits of casual. Accessories, from recycled nylon totes to commuter-ready bags add an appreciated touch of sustainability. The collection immersed visitors in a multi-sensory experience, blending design, sound, and art to reflect the collection’s refined yet practical style.
