Ideas of yesterday and tomorrow meet as one in Brunello Cucinelli’s Fall/Winter 2021 menswear collection. Embodying an elegant allure that only enhances with age, the season’s designs include garments for all occasions, ranging from elevated basics and sportswear-inspired looks to business casual and evening attire. A foggy selection of hues like slate gray, bordeaux, blueberry, and the palest mint green infuse a certain refinement that remains classic without defaulting to a typical menswear palette. Through all styles, comfort, lightness, and softness are a priority—like a matching jogger set worn with a puffer coat, a thickly knit turtleneck paired with a blazer and jeans, and a double-breasted velvet tuxedo jacket worn with mint-colored trousers and a button-up.

The second edition of the Sustainable Style project was presented through Pitti Connect yesterday, announcing Spencer Phipps as the recipient of the inaugural REDA x Sustainable Style award. Curated by Giorgia Cantarini, the Sustainable Style project focuses on highlighting 15 international designers (including names like Flavia La Rocca, KidsofBrokenFuture, Nous Etudious, and Raeburn) whose practice combines a signature aesthetic language with a focus on environmental and social responsibility. This year marks the very first edition of the REDA x Sustainable Style award, which invites winner Phipps International to create a miniature capsule collection for sustainable fabrics group REDA’s merino wool-centric activewear label, REWOOLUTION.
