Naples-native ISAIA presented its spring/summer 2014 collection this week at Pitti Uomo, inspired by the soulful storytelling of Neapolitan music.
Six timeless Neapolitan songs gave rise to a bounty of colorful clothing, composed of Naples blue mixed with oranges, greens, earthy browns, sunlit yellows, lilac-y purples, romantic pinks, and soft greys infused with a touch of turquoise.
One song in particular, O Surdato ‘Nnammurato (which tells the story of a soldier in love), was the motivation behind the much-anticipated signature “Coralflage.” This new pattern puts a refreshing twist on the tired military camo.
The collection is a combination of high performance materials and luxe fabrics that is music to our eyes.
