Redemption Takes on Thirties Hollywood

No contributor

During Haute Couture week in Paris, Redemption transported us back to the thirties—imbuing old Hollywood glamour of the thirties with a fierce contemporary feel. For fall/winter 2017-18, Redemption tapped into the sophistication and romance of the golden age of movie stars.

The collection focused on evening gowns with asymmetric cuts, pleating, and flaps accented with a touch of light embroidery. Silks, metal, mesh, and chiffon gave the garments a timeless feel. Black, red, blue, green, purple, and touches of gold made up the main color scheme. This season, Redemption offers a transformative, empowering style.
