The women walking in the Rick Owens fall/winter 2014-15 show all held a significant place in his heart. As the sun shone through the large bay windows of the Théâtre National de Chaillot, the designer’s old friends, employees, and previous models in a barrage of different looks and ages took to the Paris runway. In order to tell a real tale of never ending love, his models even came out multiple times, unchanged, just like the relationships he cherishes.
The collection carried crocodile prints, motocross leather pants, and accessories of headpieces and armlets. The rest of the looks resonated simplicity and suitability with the season’s balance of capes, poncho tops, onesies and soft fabrics. A palette of clay reds, blacks, and grays presided.
