Parisian fashion and beauty house Rochas released its fall/winter 2016 collection last week as part of Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by a romantic winter garden, the looks employed airy fabrics, such as silk crepe and chiffon, combined with colorful knee-high socks and satin pumps to create a bright, effervescent collection.
Models sparkled in sequins and drifted in featherweight florals, with ruffles and ruches winding down the sides of blouses and dresses. Windsor collars in fruity colors complimented embroidered sweaters and gowns, and forest-tinted velvet added shaded greenery to Rochas’ breezy garden. Standout pieces included a banded chartreuse fur coat; a sleeveless sequined top, pleated skirt, and waist belt in Brunswick green; and a tiered black dress with a loose black ribbon and white-blossom heels.
