Marni’s fall/winter 2014-15 collection debuted in Milan with bold sporty, yet feminine silhouettes. Bold painterly prints with splashes of aqua and sapphire pulsed through the runway, along with large striped fur coats.
Though many of the designs were exaggerated geometrically, with dramatic boxy shapes and tons of ruffles, the collection also included some ascetic wool ensembles. Black choker-scarves added a gothic, futuristic element to the line

Keeping with the sporty theme, there were some 1940s inspired suits, complete with colored stocking-socks or lace-up men’s shoes. Surprising and voluminous additions of feathers, sequins, and rhinestones completed the line, adding a little glamour and lots of drama to the collection.
