Schiaparelli, Rahul Mishra, and More Mesmerize for Paris Couture Week

A deep dive Into the most breathtaking looks from Schiaparelli, Rahul Mishra, Giambattista Valli, and more at couture Week in Paris.

Whitewall invites you to join us as we take a front-row seat to admire the looks that have left audiences in awe. From the delicately poetic silhouettes of Tamara Ralph, evoking a sense of harmony and grace, to the intentional incorporation of historic ribbon in the Schiaparelli collection, a nod to the past while embracing the future of fashion, Paris Haute Couture Week continues to immerse us in the magic of couture.

Tamara Ralphs Spring/Summer 2025 Couture collection, “Poétique Symphony,” unfolds like a harmonious crescendo of femininity. Drawing inspiration from orchestral compositions, the collection flows with silk that dances across the runway, while black and nude hues offer moments of contrast, and pearls and woven cage ribbons evoke a sense of delicate opulence. This collection serves as a celebration of emotion, timeless artistry, and the powerful connection between haute couture and its muse.

Schiaparelli’s “Icarus” Takes Flight

Using delicate strands of the past to pave the way for contemporary couture, Schiaparelli immerses us in the golden age of fashion with their “Icarus” collection. Drawing inspiration from spools of ribbon that have survived since the 1920s and 1930s, this collection pushes the boundaries of modern imagination. Experimenting with technique and form, it features A-line babydoll dresses that drop from the hips, fragile silk georgette mounted onto French corset toile to form bold, angular hip blades, and the Maison’s classic Schiap blazer, reimagined in ultra-suede and lavishly embroidered with silk satin thread work. “Icarus” challenges the limitations of contemporary couture, fusing historical references with daring innovation.

Rahul Mishra’s, Pale Blue Dot

Inspired by Carl Sagan’s The Pale Blue Dot, Rahul Mishra channeled personal grief and the mounting anxiety of climate change into his S/S 2025 collection. Gowns and bodysuits come alive with intricate depictions of wildlife and urban landscapes, illustrating a man-made world in flux—dismantling, transforming, and returning to its origins. More than a reflection of loss, this collection envisions a hopeful rebirth, where humanity rediscovers its essence and reconnects with the true meaning of life.
