On Tuesday, July 24, EIDOS presented its spring/summer 2019 collection [Contrast] in New York. The presentation marked the first spring/summer collection designed by Simon Spurr for the menswear label.
Since last fall, Creative Director Spurr has been behind a much appreciated modern update of EIDOS. For this season, he mixed street style with tailored details—specifically British punk with Italian suiting.

Some of our favorite moments included indigo tie dye—on a mohair sweater and a jean jacket. A classic trench was given a twist, with a triangle-lined window pane pattern. Plaid pants were paired with a shearling collared leather jacket, or a rich burgundy suede bomber. Suits were light-weight while impeccably cut.
True showstoppers included a pink linen suit, a raspberry and black animal stripe cotton suit, and a pink suede fringed jacket we still can’t stop thinking about.

A trunk show of the EIDOS [Contrast] collection debuted on the new Moda Operandi Man in late June.
