To the Letter: Mary Katrantzou Presents Resort 2015 Accessories

Mary Katrantzou, known for her dizzying digital patterns and intense textiles, turned to more historical printmaking for her Resort 2015 collection: letters. The accessories line follows suit, presenting a lively, yet bold array of the signature MVK bag and minaudières.
The MVK bag, returning from previous seasons, appears in colorful, yet wearable palettes. Pink comes up in various tones, as it is paired with metallic blue, lemon, amber, and black.

New to the brand is a series of minaudières that spell M-A-R-Y. Shaped in an art deco font, the bags combine marble, wood, python, and tortoise shell with shades of grey, black, blue, and green. In future seasons, more letters will be added, hopefully completing the alphabet.
