Tom Ford’s new fall/winter 2014-15 line debuted during London Fashion Week with sleek silhouettes and dark tones, inspired by minimalist 1960s mod shapes. It was a diverse collection, encompassing classic, little-black-dresses, Native American-inspired tunics, and even a couple of jersey designs inspired by the jersey from Jay-Z’s song “Tom Ford.”
Incorporating fabrics such as velvet, fur, cashmere, and sequin, the line felt luxurious and contemporary with an edge. With painted-on pencil skirts, tight fitting turtlenecks, and sumptuous fur coats, Tom Ford proved that winter can be just as sultry as summer.
