During New York and Paris fashion weeks, luxury street-wear brand En Noir offered an immersive introduction to their sober, yet striking fall/winter 2013 collection. As seen in this video, which was cut from clips of their February presentation at Milk Studios in New York, En Noir’s “Hall of Mirrors” collection is dense with designer Rob Garcia‘s dark, monochromatic vision.
Counting high fashion-via-music icons Kanye West and A$AP Rocky as early adopters, the young company is moving quickly and doing so with a stark bravado that feels equal parts luxury and hip-hop. Accompanying the video’s stormy and surreal visuals, the presentation also featured an original musical piece from collage music group Dancefloor Diplomacy and enigmatic electronic producer Zomby who collaborated to soundtrack the eerie drama that is En Noir’s style trademark.
