Inside RH Paris: A New Cultural and Design Landmark on the Champs-Élysées

RH unveils its first European flagship on the Champs-Élysées, merging design, dining, and cultural dialogue into a singular Parisian destination.

RH has opened the doors to RH Paris, The Gallery on the Champs-Élysées, marking the brand’s first European flagship and a new benchmark in immersive luxury retail. Commanding seven levels and 3,900 square meters at the epicenter of Parisian fashion and culture, the Gallery introduces RH’s unique blend of design, dining, and cultural programming to Europe for the very first time.

Conceived as the brand’s most elegant and ambitious expression to date, RH Paris integrates its luxury home furnishings collections with a dedicated RH Interior Design Office, the Library of Architecture, Interior Design & Landscape Architecture, and an exhibition of artisan works by Alison Berger and Ateliers Gohard Studio.

The Gallery also debuts RH’s first-ever hospitality concepts in Europe, weaving together curated dining and design experiences that reflect the brand’s vision of lifestyle beyond the home.

A Cultural Epicenter

With RH Paris, the brand expands its influence into the European luxury landscape, establishing the Champs-Élysées flagship as both a design destination and a cultural salon. The opening underscores RH’s strategy to position its Galleries as immersive experiences where architecture, interiors, art, and hospitality converge.

As Friedman has often described, RH aims not only to sell furnishings but to cultivate a lifestyle that “elevates and inspires” — a vision that now finds its Parisian expression in one of the most storied avenues in the world.

With the Champs-Élysées Gallery, RH sets a precedent — positioning itself at the heart of Paris’s design narrative and offering a new model for how luxury retail can merge seamlessly with art, dining, and architecture.

Explore the Majesty of RH Paris

Nestled just off the Avenue Montaigne, RH Paris embodies a fusion of art, architecture, and history at the heart of the world’s fashion capital. Enter through gold-leaf gates and a secluded garden to discover the Architecture & Design Library—a sanctuary of rare works by architectural greats like Vitruvius, Da Vinci, Palladio, and Haussmann. At its heart stands a 1521 printing of De Architectura by Marcus Vitruvius, whose writings laid the foundation for classical architecture and inspired da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man.

The gallery spans seven levels, unified by a dramatic atrium where floating stairs and a disappearing glass elevator add a sense of modern magic. Anchoring this space is a cast bronze caryatid from 1870 by Louis-Félix Chabaud—renowned for his works at the Louvre and Palais Garnier. As described by Vitruvius, caryatids symbolize the union of strength, beauty, and structural integrity. Positioned at the atrium’s core, this sculpture serves as a timeless metaphor for RH’s mission: to harmonize art, design, history, and hospitality, while building a meaningful bridge between RH and the cultural soul of Paris. RH Paris is more than a gallery—it is a living dialogue between past and present, vision and craft.
