Suzanne Syz, known for her eye-catching creations made from mixed materials and inspired by contemporary art, debuted a spirited new collection last week during Paris Couture. This year, the designer is making use of aluminum more so than ever before. Pop art colors of red, pink, and turquoise catch our attention, alongside green and Paraiba tourmalines, emeralds and turquoise beads, and diamonds. Playful pieces, in the form of ice cream cones and Life Saver candies, join rings, earrings, and bracelets made of aluminum, donned with more gems and jewels, like morganites, cognac diamonds, peridots, and spessartite garnets.
