5Vie and the Innovation Design District: Maria Cristina Didero’s Milan

“My favorite place to experience design is the road. On the occasion of Salone del Mobile, going around the street with a goal in mind but getting lost in the thousand events before reaching it. As I like to say, I believe that the best design can be found in the street. During Milan Design Week the whole city is worth a visit, of course, but you cannot miss a stroll in 5Vie, in the heart of Milan, or the new IDD, the Innovation Design District, what they call the smartest district in town.”
