Warhol fans can now bring home their very own Warhol in the form of an Absolut Vodka bottle. Absolut re-imagined their now iconic 1986 collaboration with the Pop artist (Absolut commissioned Warhol to create a work used in the brand’s ad campaigns) for the Andy Warhol Limited Edition Bottle. Since 1986, Absolut has worked with many other artist like Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Spike Jonze, and Lady Gaga.
To celebrate the new release, Absolut hosted a Warhol-themed party at SIR Studios complete with cocktails inspired by the Pop artist. Guests such as Alban de Pury, Angela Goding, Micahel Herman, Tomas Longo, Andras Szanto, Laren Kelly, and Saskia Neuman danced to a soundtrack by DJ A-Trak that included the use of an Electro Voice Phenomenon machine to channel Warhol’s spirit. Light artist, Schnellebuntebilder and conceptual artist Leif Elggren accompanied DJ A-Trak during his set.

The limited-edition bottle will be available in four million editions and launches alongside Art Exchange by Absolut, an initiative that allows users to submit digital art in exchange for work from other participants. One participant will receive an original Warhol polaroid.

The new Warhol edition was developed along side the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Foundation’s endowment from which grants supporting contemporary arts are distributed.
