For the past week and a half, Cannes has been buzzing with premieres, charity dinners, wellness activations, and late-night celebrations tied to the Cannes Film Festival. One of the most anticipated events leading into the festival’s final weekend is the 32nd edition of the amfAR Gala Cannes.
Held at the iconic Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc overlooking the Cap d’Antibes coastline, this year’s auction will feature 18 exceptional lots spanning contemporary art, haute joaillerie, luxury travel experiences, fashion, and cutting-edge automotive design.

Past editions have drawn a glamorous mix of actors, musicians, models, and industry figures including Barbara Palvin, Coco Rocha, Duran Duran, Heidi Klum, Carine Roitfeld, Ciara, Coleman Domingo, Edward Enninful, Izabel Goulart, Karolína Kurková, Mariska Hargitay, Paris Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Teri Hatcher, and James Franco.
This year’s contributors include Chopard, Philip Colbert, Carine Roitfeld, Yves Scherer, and Darren Star, among others.
As in previous years, guests can expect a live auction, dinner, and the much-anticipated runway presentation curated by Carine Roitfeld. This year’s performers include Robbie Williams and Zara Larsson. amfAR bridges the worlds of film, fashion, art, and philanthropy, the evening directly supports AIDS research programs around the world.

A collection of 19 looks curated by Carine Roitfeld will be unveiled during amfAR’s gala. Inspired by legendary cultural figures including Madonna, Prince, and Cher, the presentation explores glamour, sensuality, and reinvention through fashion.
Worn by top models on stage, the looks merge fashion history with contemporary design. Participating houses include Acne Studios, Alaïa, Jacquemus, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Vivienne Westwood, and Willy Chavarria.

This custom DENZA x Chopard electric vehicle incorporates the maison’s design language directly into the cabin, from amethyst-inspired details to embroidered leather upholstery and bespoke finishes throughout the interior. The lot also includes matching “His & Hers” Chopard timepieces and custom Shiro luggage designed specifically for the Z9GT. Together, DENZA and Chopard blend automotive innovation with craftsmanship and luxury design.

A selection of ten screen prints from Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe (Marilyn), will also go under the hammer. Based on a cropped publicity photograph from the film Niagara, the works immortalized Marilyn Monroe as both Hollywood icon and Pop Art muse. Created shortly after Monroe’s death, the portfolio remains one of the most recognizable intersections of celebrity culture and contemporary art.

An exceptionally rare Code 11.59 Self-winding Flying Tourbillon inspired by George Condo’s iconic 1984 painting The Cloudmaker. Part of an ultra-exclusive series of just five pieces worldwide, the watch transforms the letters of “CONDO” into miniature works of art through hand engraving, gemstone setting, enameling, and hand painting.

Scottish artist Philip Colbert, often referred to as the “godson of Warhol,” presents Reclining Lobster. Inspired by Henry Moore’s famed reclining figure series, the mirrored stainless steel sculpture transforms Colbert’s signature lobster character into a monumental contemporary form. Its reflective surface allows viewers to see themselves within the surrounding environment, blurring the line between sculpture, Pop Art, and audience participation.
Tracey Emin – “Twilight Zone”

Art collector, Christian Levett contributes Twilight Zone by Tracey Emin to amfAR. The painting features Emin’s expressive figurative language rendered against a pale purple ombré background with gestural outlines in red and blue. The lot arrives as Emin’s major solo exhibition continues at Tate Modern through August 2026, making it a timely opportunity for collectors while supporting a philanthropic cause.

Swiss artist Yves Scherer presents It Never Rained. Now based in New York, Scherer works across sculpture, oil painting, and lenticular prints that explore celebrity culture, fantasy, and constructed identity. The featured work depicts Kate Moss blowing bubbles against a flower arrangement on the artist’s New York windowsill. Courtesy of the artist and The Journal Gallery, the piece merges personal narrative with the mythology of celebrity imagery.

Among the evening’s standout jewelry lots is a pair of diamond earrings by Chopard featuring two emerald-cut diamonds, two brilliant-cut diamonds, and 310 diamonds set in 18-carat white gold. Created in Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie atelier in Geneva, the earrings reflect the house’s continued commitment to ethical gold and traditional savoir-faire craftsmanship.
