Last Saturday, amfAR Milano 2016 took place at La Permanente in Milan, sponsored by Harry Winston. The evening included a seated dinner, live auction, and special performances, all helping to raise funds to benefit amfAR‘s research programs and platforms for HIV/AIDS.
The live auction included a pair of Harry Winston Open Cluster Diamond Earrings worn by Sara Sampaio which garnered 100,000 euros towards the organization. The famed jewelry house also showcased its limited edition collection of men’s and women’s watches, the Countdown to a Cure Timepiece (introduced in February of this year), as part of it’s three-year partnership with amfAR. Proceeds from the sale of the collection go towards the charity’s commitment to developing a scientific basis for curing HIV by 2020.
