Art Basel in Miami Beach 2016: What to Eat & What to Sip

By Eliza Jordan

November 22, 2016

Heading to Art Basel in Miami Beach next week and already craving something delicious? If so, we’ve got just the thing for you—a list of restaurants and bars in the city to help guide you from meal to meal.

CECCONI’S
Cecconi’s serves dishes from Italy using the finest ingredients and has dining destinations in London, Berlin, Barcelona and West Hollywood, too. Its modern, Venetian-inspired food is simply prepared and critically acclaimed. Its menu offers handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and delectable desserts. Enjoy a beautiful garden setting, snugly set inside Soho Beach House for members and guests alike. Enjoy their coy “4 to 7” aperitivo cocktail and bites menu, offered from Tuesday to Saturday between 4-7 PM.

EL TUCÁN

El Tucán provides not only a dinner and a show, but a modern-day cabaret that harks back to Cuba circa 1940s. The experience transports guests to the unique bygone era of glitz and Latin glamour “within the heart of Brickell” instead of in Brickell City Centre.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s new-style Japanese cuisine empire has found its perfect position in South Beach. Nobu Miami Beach is the ultimate place “to see and be seen.” This upscale sushi establishment complements Collins Avenue with an unforgettable Japanese dining experience.

Luxurious. Elegant. Refined.

Whitewaller recommends: Enjoy dinner on the patio or within the exclusive Teppan Room.

MR CHOW
Featuring indoor seating, an interior bar, a lounge, and a spacious outside dining patio, MR CHOW is centered around a unique 123-foot gold Swarovski crystal chandelier designed by Mr. Michael Chow himself. The restaurant is located inside of the W SouthBeach, and serves “classic Beijing cuisine to innovative Beijing cuisine.”

Classic. Inventive. Accomplished.

Whitewaller recommends: Semi Prix Fixe.
