On Wednesday night, Artsy and SoundCloud created a sensory experience inside the Faena Art geodesic dome Time Capsule on the beach in Miami.
The immersive visual and audio installation was a result of a collaboration between new media artist Rachel Rossin, and artist and producer ABRA, curated by Elena Soboleva, Artsy’s Curator of Special Projects, and entitled Collective Reality. It reimagines virtual reality applications, using motion tracking, 360-degree projection, avatar puppeteering, and also features work by artists Jon Rafman and Jacolby Satterwhite.
The night, presented by Gucci, saw guests like Sarah Arison, Ximena Caminos, Carter Cleveland, Casey Fremont Crowe, Sebastian Cwilich, Poppy de Villeneuve, Alan Faena, Ryan McGinley, Wendi Murdoch, Duke Riley, Mickalene Thomas, Dustin Yellin, Agathe Snow, Mario Testino, among others.
