This summer, a chic Milanese tradition is taking place at the beloved Italian eatery, Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at the Loews Regency Hotel, in the form of a delicious aperitivo.
The Sant Amberous Coffee Bar location on Park Avenue is the first take away restaurant for the group. The grab-and-go concept fused with the traditional European casual style of eating transports each visitor to a café in Milan. The aperitivo is a Milanese tradition of Italian inspired cocktails paired with hors d’oeuvres. The main focus of the aperitivo is presentation. Each cocktail is paired with an aesthetically pleasing plate of food for a great price. The little plates that Whitewall sampled were a divine cheese plate that consisted of parma reggiano, salmon, salami, paired with a refreshing prosecco and Aperol liquor cocktail.
Like its other locations, the Coffee Bar always feels like a little getaway. As brand ambassador Alex Hettinger describes it, “There are not many restaurants in New York with concept, which makes Sant Ambroeus very unique.”
