Brand New: Baccarat’s First Home Collection, Chanel’s New Stores, Louis Vuitton’s Tambour Pieces, and More

Just in time for spring, we’re sharing our favorite Brand New releases from brands like Baccarat, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and more.

Released in collaboration with Luxury Living Group, Baccarat debuted its first home collection. Baccarat La Maison features handcrafted furniture pieces for each room in the house including the bedroom, living room, and dining room—all bearing the French luxury brand’s elegant, timeless style and flawless crystal.

Just in time for upcoming garden parties, afternoon cocktails, and wedding receptions, fashion label Borgo de Nor has released a delightful selection of floral dresses. Styles include a short multicolored piece with subtle ruffled layers, a pink and red flowing maxi, and two off-the-shoulder variations in red and fuchsia.

Plenty is happening at Chanel this season, from a new residence at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées to a fresh selection of eyewear. At the new Parisian department store, the brand has filled several spaces (some permanent and some pop-up), where its Spring/Summer 2019 ready-to-wear and accessories will be highlighted. In Seoul, Chanel opened its tenth location in South Korea, and its first flagship in the city—a seven-story boutique with spaces dedicated to ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, fragrances, watches and more, as well as private reception rooms and space for events and exhibitions. The house also released several new eyewear designs inspired by sunshine, natural materials and light, and the beach—including a small oval frame and a wide rectangular frame with denim details.

Put down the plastic and buy yourself a limited edition set of hand-blown glass straws made on the island of Murano. This Clos19 collaboration with Duncan Campbell and Charlotte Rey is inspired by Venice’s iconic striped mooring poles, comes in a colorful set of six, and makes sipping from a straw as sustainably elegant as it gets.

Louis Vuitton has announced the Tambour Icon timepieces, following in the footsteps of the original Tambour design in 2002. The new styles include the brown and tan Tambour Monogram (available in 28, 34, and 39.5 mm) and the black and gray Tambour Damier Graphite, which has a 41.5mm case. Both designs allow for interchangeable straps, and feature a quartz movement

Available in endless styles, materials, and colors Lutz Morris’ new collection of handbags will ensure you have an option for every day of the week. Highlights include: the ivory Maya bag with the colorful woven strap; the boxy, green Tate in crocodile; and the Seveny tote in sky blue.

Mikimoto’s new pearl and diamond designs include an array of striking new pieces. The new offerings include: a rose gold and diamond choker-style necklace; a double stranded pearl bracelet fastened with a diamond-crusted bow; and an extraordinary collar made entirely of pearls, complemented by a strand of diamonds that come together in a tied bow.

Missoni partnered with Castaner to create a collection of 19 footwear designs—including 15 for women and four for men. Designed by Angela Missoni, the collaboration includes styles like a pair of black and white platform sandals, wedges that tie at the ankle featuring the iconic Missoni zig-zag print, and a selection of must-have classic espadrille styles.

Stop by The Garden at The Standard, East Village, where you can leave the urban hustle and bustle and retreat to a surrealist fantasy garden. Featuring larger-than-life topiary installations by Opiary’s Robert Remer and picturesque outdoor seating, the perfect summer hangout is complete with a menu of picnic classics and refreshing drinks and cocktails.
